BRADENTON — About 250 students representing dance teams from Manatee County School District’s high schools and middle schools will display their talents during the second annual “Yes We Can … DANCE!” showcase Friday.
The show starts at 7:30 p.m. and will take place at the State College of Florida’s Neel Auditorium.
Tickets are $5 and available at middle and high schools. Proceeds go to each individual school. Remaining tickets will be sold at the door for $8.

Film rush next week at South Florida Museum
BRADENTON — A collaboration between the School District of Manatee County, Manatee Educational Television, the State College of Florida and the South Florida Museum, Film Rush 2010 is slated for March 26 at the South Florida Museum.
The event starts at 7 p.m.
The museum is at 201 10th St. W., Bradenton.
Admission is free and more than 80 student films have been entered for judging.
