BRADENTON — Bayshore High School is hosting a comedy night on Saturday.

Las Vegas headliner Lou Angelwolf will perform in Stewart Auditorium of the school and proceeds go to the Bayshore Theater Company.

The school is at 5401 34th St. W. and tickets are $10 and will be available at the door. The show starts at 7 p.m.

School musical production set for this week

PALMETTO — The Manatee School For the Arts Black Box Theatre presents “You’re A Good Man Charlie Brown,” a high school musical production on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and showtime is 7 p.m.

Tickets are being pre-sold at the front desk and are $5 for students with identification and $8 for adults.

Manatee School For the Arts is located at 700 Haben Blvd., Palmetto.

Southeast High School birthday fair next week

MANATEE — Southeast High School will hold its 3rd annual International Fair on March 25.

In celebration of Southeast’s 50th Anniversary, the theme for this year’s fair is “Birthdays Around the World.”

Students will organize and run booths that will include an activity and demonstrate how different countries celebrate their founding. For more information call (941) 741-3366, ext. 2119.

Bayshore High School arts festival set for March 23

BRADENTON — Bayshore High’s School of Arts and Communications is hosting a celebration of the arts festival from 6 to 8 p.m. March 23 in the school’s courtyard and cafeteria.

The theme is “Arts Down Under” and features an Australian “walkabout” with the aid of storytellers, singers, dancers, musicians and visual artists.

Artwork based on the Australian aborigines will also be exhibited.

Pizza and soda will also be available for purchase.
