MANATEE — The Mosaic Co. has been recognized in the Corporate Responsibility Magazine 11th annual 100 Best Corporate Citizens list, known as the world’s top corporate responsibility ranking based on publicly available information.

Mosaic received its 45th global ranking in part due to its conservation and environmental stewardship as well as its financial and governance transparency. Mosaic’s accomplishments include recycling 95 percent of all water used in its Phosphates business, generating nearly 100 percent of its Brazilian power from hydroelectric sources and operating with exceptional transparency in financial reporting and governance.

RE/MAX Alliance Group celebrates anniversary

SARASOTA — Re/Max Alliance Group recently marked the second anniversary of the merger that created the largest RE/MAX office in Florida.

A company wide meeting was held in January and an agent awards ceremony is planned for March.

The merger enabled RE/MAX to capture the No. 1 market position for residential sales in Manatee, Sarasota and Charlotte counties, the company said.

ABCO Payroll receives best of Bradenton Award

BRADENTON — ABCO Payroll Services has been selected for the 2010 Best of Bradenton Award in the Payroll Accounting Service category by the U.S. Commerce Association.

The association’s “Best of Local Business” Award Program recognizes outstanding local businesses throughout the country who have achieved marketing success in their local community and business category.
