Foreclosure clinic set for Monday

MANATEE — The Manatee Community Action Agency Inc. and the St. Petersburg Neighborhood Housing Services Inc. will put on a Stop Foreclosure Clinic at the Manatee Community Action Agency Meeting Room, 302 Manatee Ave. E., Suite 309, from 6 to 7 p.m. Monday.

The educational program will focus on a consumer’s rights in a foreclosure, the purchasing of a home, renting a home, renting a home in foreclosure and other topics. To register, call (941) 827-0188, ext. 7802.

The Manatee Community Action Agency and St. Petersburg Neighborhood Housing Services are HUD-approved nonprofit housing counseling agencies helping families save their homes from foreclosure.

Plastic surgery open house March 17

Clinic centers on homelessness

BRADENTON — Gulfcoast Legal Services Inc., in cooperation with the Community Coalition on Homelessness and Suncoast Partnership to End Homelessness, will put on an educational clinic on how to avoid homelessness.

The clinic will be held at the Bill Galvano One Stop Center, 701 17th Ave. W., on March 11, March 25, April 8, April 22, May 6 and May 20. The program will start at 10 a.m. An attorney will be available to talk with after the educational presentation. To register, call (941) 746-6151.
