MANATEE - Three people were arrested after deputies say they stole copper wire and other parts from a cell phone tower in Parrish, according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.

Eugene Walker, 40, his brother Matthew Walker, 32 and Ashley Rinehart, 23, were arrested after deputies responding to an alarm found them near a tower in the 11300 block of Erie Road about 10:50 p.m. Tuesday, according to a news release.

Deputies said they recovered copper that had been taken from the tower, and that a fence had been cut in order to gain entry.
