LONGBOAT KEY — The Longboat Island Chapel plans to introduce plans for its Aging in Paradise Resource Center from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Thursday at a wine tasting event at Harry’s Continental, 525 St. Judes Drive, Longboat Key.

Admission is $10 a person and entertainment will be provided by the chapel’s choir and music- al director Russell Kennedy.

A capital improvement campaign is under way to create handicapped accessibility to the 6,000-square-foot second floor of the Longboat Island Chapel by building an elevator and converting two bathrooms to handicap specifications.
