New flu clinics are set for schools

BRADENTON — The Manatee County Health Department has announced the November and December public school clinics to provide H1N1 flu immunizations to elementary students. They are as follows:

n Wakeland Elementary, 1:30-6 p.m., Nov. 18.

n Manatee Elementary, 1:30-6 p.m., Nov. 18.

n Orange Ridge Elementary, 3:30-7 p.m., Nov. 19.

n Oneco Elementary, 3:30-7 p.m., Nov. 19.

n Duette Elementary, 3:30-4:30 p.m., Nov. 20.

n Myakka Elementary, 3:30-7 p.m., Nov. 20.

n Gullett Elementary, 3:30-7 p.m., Nov. 20.

n Stewart Elementary, 3:30-7 p.m., Nov. 23.

n Rogers Garden Elementary, 3:30-7 p.m., Nov. 23.

n Palm View Elementary, 3:30-7 p.m., Nov. 30.

n Palmetto Elementary, 3:30-7 p.m., Nov. 30.

n Abel Elementary, 3:30-7 p.m., Dec. 1.

n McNeal Elementary, 3:30-7 p.m., Dec. 1.

n Daughtrey Elementary, 1:30-6 p.m., Dec. 2.

n Ballard Elementary, 1:30-6 p.m., Dec. 2.

n Willis Elementary, 3:30-7 p.m., Dec. 3.

n Witt Elementary, 3:30-7 p.m., Dec. 3.

n Mills Elementary, 3:30-7 p.m., Dec. 7.

n Sea Breeze Elementary, 3:30-7 p.m., Dec. 8.

n Samoset Elementary, 3:30-7 p.m., Dec. 8.

n Moody Elementary, 1:30-6 p.m., Dec. 9.

n Miller Elementary, 1:30-6 p.m., Dec. 9.

n Palma Sola Elementary, 3:30-7 p.m., Dec. 10.

n Prine Elementary, 3:30-7 p.m., Dec. 10.

n Williams Elementary, 3:30-7 p.m., Dec. 14.

n Bashaw Elementary, 3:30-7 p.m., Dec. 14.

n Tara Elementary, 3:30-7 p.m., Dec. 15.

n Rowlett Elementary, 3:30-7 p.m., Dec. 15.

At the clinics on the specified dates, health department staff will provide the vaccines in schools to students enrolled in these schools whose parents or guardians are present with signed consent forms. A parental consent form and information packet have been distributed to all Manatee County students.

Elementary-level home-schooled students may participate at any scheduled elementary school clinic. All elementary school students must have a parent or guardian present in order to receive the vaccination.
