Feb. 9-11: The writing portion of the Florida Comprehensive Assessment Test is administered in grades, 4, 8 and 10
March 13: SAT test
March 9-19: The reading and math portions of the FCAT are administered in grades 3 to 10. Students in grades 5, 8 and 10 also are required to take the science test. Students who have not passed their FCAT will also be able to retake the test.
Apr. 10: ACT test date
May 1: SAT test date
June 5: SAT test date
June 12: ACT test date
The Scholastic Reading Inventory will be given to high school students as needed between days 10 and 30 of the school year.
The Florida Kindergarten Readiness Screener, made up of two assessments, is administered to students entering kindergarten. The first classroom observation is held between days 1 and 20 of the school year. The early literacy assessment is between days 10 and 30.
