@BR Boxtext bold lede colon:Downtown Bradenton Farmers Market: Held on Old Main Street from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays on Old Main Street through the last weekend in May. Free music performances are held each week. Every third Saturday of the month, the market hosts its Mainly Art event where area art vendors sell everything from jewelry to antiques.

Red Barn: The Red Barn is the county’s largest farmers market with 600 merchants and 900 booths. The market is at 1707 First St. E. It is open 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday during the summer and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday during the winter.

Ellenton Farmers Market: Every Saturday year-round. Season hours are from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. October through May; Summer hours are 8 a.m. to noon June to September. The market is on the north side of the Ellenton Ice and Sports Complex near the Prime Outlet Mall, 5309 29th Street E., Ellenton.

Lakewood Ranch Main Street Farmers Market: This farmers market for runs from November through May. Hours are 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Downtown Sarasota Farmers Market: Located at Main Street and Lemon Avenue, the Sarasota Farmers Market is open 7 a.m. to noon Saturdays year round, rain or shine.
