Upon entering Cooper Creek Dental, patients will feel comfortable as they enjoy the sounds of the custom made water fall, while sipping on a beverage from our complimentary beverage center. After a tour of the office, one will sense that this is a state-of-the-art practice focused on providing optimum oral health care to patients.

Shelly McAvoy, D.M.D. and Ann Mooney, D.M.D partnered together with the goal of creating a “hometown feel” dental practice centered on forming strong patient relationships, as well as providing quality dental care specific to each patients’ need.

Cooper Creek Dental is a family practice - children to seniors - where doctors and staff interact with their patients like friends and family. This type of atmosphere even the most dental phobic patient will find their visit to be enjoyable. This ensures that Dr. McAvoy and Dr. Mooney’s patients maintain regular visits, the preventative key to oral health.

On the first visit to Cooper Creek Dental, new patients are given a “dental physical”-a comprehensive exam utilizing the latest technology in order to assess each patients’ current oral health status. Dr. Mooney or Dr. McAvoy then determines treatment need based on each patient’s individual desires.

Following this exam, patients are introduced to one of three hygienists at Cooper Creek Dental: Gina Damico, R.D.H., Susan Kitchenmaster, R.D.H., or Michelle Windom, R.D.H. where patients will continue to learn about how to best care for their oral health needs while receiving a professional teeth cleaning.

The staff and doctors at Cooper Creek Dental do not take a “one size fits all” approach in meeting the needs of their patients. Instead, they consider the uniqueness of each person and situation in determining the correct method to restore health. They educate each patient to help them make the right decision and to feel comfortable with the treatment they choose.
