AC Warehouse, started by partners Duane Burns and Kevin Henault, could easily be defined as one of the area’s greatest small business success stories. From a start-up to what has become one of the most- recognized air conditioning companies. AC Warehouse has created a brand that is synonymous with quality and value. Their unmistakable trademark trucks can be spotted on their way to deliver unparalleled service every day.

Duane and Kevin started AC Warehouse in 2003 based on a simple business philosophy that has stood the test of time; deliver high quality, customer driven service at “warehouse pricing”. Duane sums the business up this way, “The housing boom certainly helped when starting the company, but we didn’t create our business model around it. Fair pricing and excellent service to the homeowner are what have kept our business not only stable, but also growing in these current economic times.”

AC Warehouse carries major brands like Lennox, Frigidaire, Rheem, Amana and Comfortmaker. As consumers express increasing interest in going “green”, AC Warehouse has expanded its inventory of energy-efficient units that help save the environment as well as electricity costs. “The consumer is more concerned about their impact on the environment than ever before”, says Kevin Henault, “and with the government offering tax incentives up to $1,500, going ‘green’ is now more affordable than ever.”

After many years of occupying the number one spot for air conditioning and heating sales and service, it would be understandable if AC Warehouse was content to rest on its well-deserved laurels. Instead, the company just keeps working harder, and bringing more innovative products and services to the marketplace.

The latest innovation is the Guardian Air - Air Purification System, one that has been proven to kill airborne bacteria, particulates, and biological growth, including the H1N1 virus commonly known as “Swine Flu”. This technology, currently being used in hospitals, schools, nursing homes and government buildings, is now available to local homes and businesses, thanks to AC Warehouse. “This business is really cool”, quips Henault, “everyday we have the opportunity to make people’s lives healthier and more comfortable”.
