BRADENTON — A Bradenton woman was arrested after her 7-year-old son called 911 while home alone with his siblings, ages 1 and 4, according to a Bradenton Police Department report. The mother of the boy, Rashondra Latrice Waiters, 25, came home Friday to Bradenton police officers in her apartment and admitted to leaving her children home alone while she went to a nightclub, the police report said.

Officers came to her home after the boy called 911 and told a dispatcher his mother went to the mall, before hanging up. Police found the 1-year-old baby with dirty diapers, as well as Oxycodone pills and a kitchen knife in the apartment within reach of all three children.

Police arrested her on charges of three counts of child neglect.
