MANATEE — A 26-year-old man was arrested on a warrant on charges he was involved in a home invasion robbery.

Aron Daniel Jackson, of the 4000 block of 61st Avenue East, was served the arrest warrant Tuesday at the Manatee County jail where he was already in custody.

According to the warrant affidavit, signed by Bradenton Police Detective Mark Roberts, two of the victims were sitting in their home at about 11:30 p.m. Sunday waiting for a friend to arrive and play video games.

The suspect and a second man, identified as A Dawg, rushed into the home and demanded drugs and money.

When the victim said he didn’t sell drugs anymore and that he did not have any money, the suspects ransacked the residence.

A female victim in a back bedroom was forced to lie on the living room floor, as well as a friend who showed up at the door, the affidavit said.

The friend told investigators he recognized the man who pointed the gun at him as a friend of Jackson and knew him as A Dawg.

The female victim told the robbers the location of a wallet and they took the money from it.

The two suspects allegedly took televisions and other electronic equipment before leaving.

When police investigators arrived, the male resident of the home said he recognized Jackson; he had gone to school with him.
