Sheriff: Manatee woman, 77, is missing

MANATEE - Manatee County sheriff's detectives need help in locating a missing 77-year-old woman.

Betty J. Green of 663 Park Circle, Bradenton, was last seen about 7 a.m. today according to the sheriff's office.

She is 5 feet 5 inches tall, around 160 pounds with black / gray hair and blue eyes.

Her vehicle is a Blue 2003 Chrysler PT Cruiser with Florida tag # Y8DKK.

Neighbors say they remember seeing her car sitting in her driveway at around 7 a.m. today

Detectives have reason to believe Green may have driven to the Fort Myers area. Her credit card was used sometime today for the purchase of gasoline at an Exxon station in Fort Myers.
