Number of graduates: 342

Speakers: Graduates Christopher Martin Garcia, Farbenzie Tcheska Williams and Jennifer Nicole Klama.

Shining moment: When Williams, a native of Haiti who learned English after moving to the United States five years ago, thanked her mom for her accomplishment.

Best quote: “We love ya. We don’t let you walk on the grass but we love ya,” said Braden River Principal Jim Pauley.

Interesting sight: Graduates waited politely for their commencement ceremony guests to leave the stage before they tossed their silver, black and maroon mortarboards into the air.
