The South Florida Museum is pleased to announce our summer camp offerings for 2009.

June 15-19 Space Camp. Investigate stars, galaxies, comets, black holes and other cosmic wonders.

June 22-26 Grossology. Embark on a study of all things gooey, slimy, and a bit bizarre. The week ends with a day of bizarre foods (for those who think they are brave enough!)

June 29 - July 3 Florida’s Predators. From Megalodon to Smilodon we’ll investigate predators and their prey both past and present.

July 13-19 Florida-ology. Become an expert on everything from our Native Americans to our unique natural environment.

July 20-24 Young Scientists Camp. Hit the lab and put all your science skills to work - the experimenting is sure to be a blast.

July 27-31 Creepy Crawlies (and Things That Go Bump in the Night). Get up close and personal with some of nature’s most maligned and misunderstood animals.

All camps are from 9 am to 4 pm. Each session is limited to 50 campers. Discounts for members and families with multiple campers. See website for registration information.
