What: Bradenton Christian (0-1) at Tampa Cambridge (0-1)
When, where: 7:30 p.m. on Friday, at Tampa Jefferson High
The scoop: The Panthers are trying to rebound from a 14-3 loss to archrival Saint Stephen's last Friday. BCS gained only five first downs, but the Panthers also had five dropped passes and 66 rushing yards. BCS's Eric Fridenberg was 7 of 15 for 54 yards. This is a historical moment as the Panthers will be their first-district game as a member of Class 1B-District 6. Allan Gerber, the Panthers first-year coach, said he will tinker with the offense and will give a some backups more playing time this week. This might not be a bad week to try that. Tampa Cambridge fell to Jacksonville University Christian 54-0 last week.
The score: Bradenton Christian 17, Cambridge 14.
