Winds will quickly increase to 20-25 mph after sunrise and continue through the afternoon and early evening. There will be wind gusts up to 35 mph during the afternoon, making boating conditions hazardous, especially on larger lakes. Temperatures will drop overnight to around 49 with mostly cloudy skies. The winds will remain strong at 18-21 mph coming from the north-northwest. They will gradually decrease to between 10-13 mph, but there could be gusts as high as 29 mph. Wednesday will be sunny with a high near 73. Winds from the north-northeast will calm down to between 9-16 mph, but there will still be gusts as high as 23 mph. Temperatures of around 51 will accompany the mostly clear skies Wednesday night. A northeast wind between 7-11 mph will also have gusts as high as 23 mph. Sunny conditions will continue Thursday, with a high near 77. Winds will be from the northeast at 6-14 mph, and gusts as high as 20 mph. Thursday night will be mostly clear with an overnight low of around 57.
